Hello, I'm Laura the Home-Start Lomond manager. I started the role in Autumn 2022 having previously worked & volunteered in a number of related roles including the Royal Voluntary Service, Neighbourhood Networks, Quarriers, Males & Female Tales & local council. I'm a busy working mother, volunteer & military wife and enjoy living in the wonderful Helensburgh area. In my spare time I like to walk my dog, cook and get out and about!

My name is Catherine, I am the Family Co-ordinator for Home-Start Lomond and came into my post in April 2023, prior to taking up the post, I had also been volunteering Home-Start since October 2022.

I have 24 years’ experience in Early years and have worked with and supported many families in that time.

I have two children, I’m a military wife and have lived in Helensburgh for just over 11 years.

I’m a big advocate for fitness in whatever form that takes, I regularly go to the Gym, enjoy walking and have enjoyed running too!

Hello, I am Mhairi and I’m the administrator for Home Start Lomond. I started in the post in March 2024 and was previously a Trustee for Home Start Lomond.

My background is in the care sector and HR, prior to this I was an Archaeologist and still have an interest in history and scrabbling about in the dirt. I am a single parent to identical twin toddler boys and we love exploring our world.
